The Historic Carson House is located in Marion, North Carolina, in McDowell County, just a few miles west of downtown Marion and near the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The house is conveniently positioned along U.S. Highway 70, a historic route that runs parallel to Interstate 40, making it easily accessible for visitors traveling through western North Carolina. The property is set in a scenic rural area, surrounded by rolling hills and wooded landscapes typical of the foothills region of the Appalachians.
